 This cute french blue piece would make a great table for a small area.

Another great small table that is tan and sage green. 

 This small round table top was  mounted on a vintage pedestal, then striped in bright colors.

The next several pieces are made from aged painted wood.  Some of the pieces are adorned with various "vintage" items I find....junk to some....treasures for me.

November Projects

 Old corbels and shutter make up this great entry hall shelf.

 This study, all wood 12 drawer chest can used as a buffet piece, media chest, or even a bedroom dresser.  It is blue antiqued.  The top three drawers have a rattan face.

Black beadboard placed on a cypress stained board make up this cross.  Two old gold furniture accent pieces are placed on each side of the cross board.  A unique piece from the bottom of a vase is in the middle.

Blue and white stained wood is accented by the beautiful pearl vintage broch.

A shutter from New Orleads has 5 frames made from old beard board and 4 hooks....a unique hall entry piece for that special home.  

New October projects

Old Door Hall Tree that I made for the family that gave me several doors stored in a shed on their property. 

Bed Bench made from a twin.  Antiqued blue with a aged spindle embellishment.

October projects

I discovered this vintage piece in Arkansas.  Gold, creamy white, and natural wood highlight the carved wood doors.  The shelves on the inside are deep and sturdy.

Check out this Vintage bed with a working light in the headboard.  The arms are curbed with  distressed grooves and cuts.  The bench is made of cypress and stained a light brown.

This old stereo console (speakers still work) would be a great piece to hold your large wide screen TV.

These checkered boards were once part of an old antique rope bed.  I discovered them in a junkers paradise in Maine when I visited New England.

I love this old window!  The mats will hold 5x7 pictures.  It is antiqued dark brown over a sage paint.

Oak, rough cut boards painted a light tan and lime green then antiqued with a walnut stain.

Boards salvaged from New Orleans.  An old spindle and door hinge make the cross very different.

This cross is designed from boards from an old door with a rusty old knob and hinge.

Light blue wood and a salvaged frame...nothing goes to waste.

These corbels were in great shape but the off white paint didn't match and the customer wanted it blue antiqued.  A grey and blue shutter will be mounted on top and used as an one of a kind entry table.

September Projects

I often forget to take photos of some of my pieces but here are a few I did happen to take.

 

This is the first project I have made for myself: my own worktable!!! 

I made this piece from old painted boarded which had multiple layers of colors.  Two vintage sewing boxes support the top board.  The piece could rest on a desk or used on the wall as a picture ledge.

.The orange and dark brown paints looked great together after I distressed the old layers on top of each other



This old cedar chest that I spruced up can be used for a coffee table or bed bench.



Some times I need to build  a few other things to change up my routine of just making tables.   

Coat rack for an entry...she was very please with what she ordered.

Special order table for a customer made of cypress.  She called last night and said it looked great and was just what she wanted.  Her husband even commented on it...how rare is that!



This 5x7 frame was made from a old door and discarded frame from a junk store.  I love using my "scraps" and visiting junk stores.



June - August Projects

Entry table from from salvaged wood from New Orleans.  Various colors are present with dark stained legs.

Below the table is a picture ledge made from a neat old aged painted board.

Both Chalk boards are framed by blocks of old beadboard and various painted boards from previous projects.

This table can serve various options throughout your home.  It is soft pink and off white, mahogany stained trim, with off white farm table legs.
